Indymac Bank® Loan Resolution Department offers payment assistance for mortgage customers who are experiencing financial hardship. If you are like most people, homeownership is important to you and it is very
important for us to provide assistance to help you keep your home.
HELP US HELP YOU ...
If you can answer "YES" to any of the following questions, we may be able to help you:
- Are you unemployed or have you experienced a substantial cut in pay?
- Is a family member deceased or seriously ill?
- Has a divorce affected your ability to make the mortgage payment?
- Have you had to relocate due to loss of employment?
If you can afford to keep your home ...
- We may be able to work out a repayment plan in order to bring your loan current.
- We may be able to modify some of the terms of your loan.
If you cannot afford to keep your home ...
- We may allow a qualified buyer to assume your loan.
- If you sell your home at Market Value and the value is less than the total due, we may agree to accept the sale proceeds to satisfy some or the entire amount you owe.
- If you are unable to sell your home at market value, we may be able to allow you to voluntarily deed the property back. This means you can avoid a public foreclosure sale.
By acting quickly, you may be able to avoid the loss of your home or property!
If you are currently incurring a financial hardship, please contact our Loan Resolution Department either by e-mail at paymentassistance@indymacbank.com or by phone at 1-877-908-HELP (4357).
